Pick a patch and a short-acting product (Gum, Lozenge, Spray, or Inhaler).
Combination Nicotine replacement Therapy (NRT) is the use of a long-acting patch plus an additional form of short-acting NRT by mouth on an as-needed basis. The patch provides 24-hour craving control while the short-acting NRT helps fight cravings.
Directions: Apply the patch on a clean, dry and hair-free part of your body, preferably on your upper torso. When you experience a tough craving, use your short-acting NRT as directed on an as needed basis. For further information, please speak to your Rexall Pharmacist.
