The cholesterol (lipid) test measures your blood cholesterol (HDL, LDL, total cholesterol) and certain fats (triglycerides) in your blood. A cholesterol test is recommended if you are 40 years or older or if you are younger and have risk factors for heart disease.
How it Works:
*Point-of-Care testing will be free of charge when clinical need is determined through a Medication Review service. There will be a $30 fee when provided as a standalone service.

Sore throats can be caused by both viruses and bacterial infection. Strep throat is an infection in the throat and tonsils caused by bacteria called group A Streptococcus (group A strep) which is contagious. Rapid strep testing checks for strep throat in patients experiencing symptoms such as pain with swallowing, swollen tonsils, or white patches on tonsils.
How it Works:
If negative, the pharmacist will provide non-antibiotic treatment options for symptom management.
If positive, the pharmacist will assist you with getting antibiotic treatment to decrease symptoms and duration of infection.
An A1c test is a blood sugar test that measures the average amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood over the past three months. An A1C test is recommended to screen and manage diabetes. Diabetic patients are recommended to have their A1C levels assessed every 3 to 6 months.
