2. Eligibility

To enter and be eligible to win, an entrant must be a resident of Canada and a Collector in the AIR MILES Reward Program, who is at least 18 years of age in his/her province of residence. Directors, officers and employees of Rexall Group Canada Ulc or a member of the immediate family of, or domiciled with, an employee of Rexall group, its subsidiaries, parent or affiliated companies, their respective advertising or promotional agencies, or the independent contest organization are not eligible to enter this Contest. Proof of identification and age must be provided upon request. In these Contest Rules, “immediate family” means spouse, mother, father, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters or persons living under the same roof with them.

If you are not already an AIR MILES Collector, you can enroll in the AIR MILES Reward Program by visiting www.airmiles.ca. By enrolling to become an AIR MILES Collector you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program, as amended from time to time.

3. How To Enter

There are two ways to enter the Contest:

1. Purchase $10 in Lottery INSTANT/SCRATCH Tickets products in one transaction at a participating Rexall location , regular exclusions apply, during the contest period and swipe your AIR MILES®† Card.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
   To participate without purchase, print your name, e-mail address, mailing address and a telephone number clearly and legibly on a plain piece of paper, and describe in a minimum 50-word, handwritten essay why you want to win this contest

To be eligible for the Contest, the mail-in entry must be received by Thursday December 12 2019 failing which you will not be entered into the Contest. Limit: one (1) mail-in request per address per day during the Contest Period. Maximum of one (1) entry form per stamped envelope. Mail-in requests must be stamped with sufficient postage. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of receipt. No photocopies or other reproductions will be accepted.

Limit: One (1) entry per day per AIR MILES Collector Number, regardless of the method of entry chosen.

Rexall Pharmacy Group is not responsible for lost, late, garbled, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or other error. The use of computer programs and other automatic means to submit multiple entries is prohibited.

4. Description of Prize

There are a total of 5 Grand Prizes of 10,000 AIR MILES Reward Miles, regionally allocated as follows:

Limit: One (1) Grand Prize per AIR MILES Collector Number.

The approximate retail value of AIR MILES Reward Miles prize depends on the chosen method of redemption, available Reward options at the time of redemption, and the set preference between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream Accounts. If redeemed with AIR MILES Cash, 95 Cash Miles can be used in-store for $10 towards purchases at participating AIR MILES Partners or 95 Cash Miles can be used online for eVouchers for $10 worth of value at participating Reward Partners. If redeemed for flights (1200 Reward Mile minimum required for flight redemption), value depends on destination chosen, date of travel and use of multiple carriers or suppliers.  For example, one return economy flight in low season departure from Toronto, Ontario to Winnipeg, Manitoba is 2000 AIR MILES Reward Miles and has an approximate value of $525.00 (Canadian) excluding taxes.  Winner must pay applicable taxes, related transportation fees, governmental levies, excess baggage and other non-ticket costs.  The value of AIR MILES Reward Miles used for non-flight Reward options depends on Reward options in effect at the time of redemption.  AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program as amended from time to time.  AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded.

Draw occurs 4 weeks after contest closing.

5. Procedure for Awarding Prizes

The prize[s] will be awarded following the procedure set out below.

draw will be held 4 weeks after the end of the Contest Period, where five (5) entries will be selected amongst all regional entries received between 12:00:00 AM (ET) Friday December 6th to Thursday December 12th 2019. (pursuant to paragraph 2) Rexall Pharmacy Group will then proceed to contact the chosen entrant[s].

Attempts will be made by Rexall Pharmacy Group to contact the selected entrant[s] by telephone and/or e-mail for a period of two (2) days from the first attempt of contact. If the selected entrant is not contacted within the two (2) day period or if contacted does not confirm arrangements for his/her prize with Sponsoring Supplier, or meet all of the Contest conditions to be declared a winner, by no later than two (2) days after being contacted, he/she shall be disqualified and Sponsoring Supplier reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select another eligible entrant as the winner, in the same manner.

The odds of winning a regional prize are dependent upon the number of eligible regional entries received.

For the purposes of these Contest rules, the entrant is the individual in whose name the AIR MILES Collectors Number has been established and this is the individual to whom the prize will be awarded if he/she is selected and declared a winner

6. General Rules

6.1 To be declared a winner, each selected entrant must first correctly answer, without assistance, a time limited, mathematical skill-testing question.

6.2 By entering the Contest, each winner agrees to permit Rexall Pharmacy Group and their respective advertising and promotional agencies to use the winner’s name and/or likeness (including without limitation his/her photograph), and/or his/her voice and statements regarding the Contest, for any advertising or promotional purposes connected with this Contest, in any media whatsoever, including without limitation, on any website operated by the Rexall Pharmacy Group , Sponsoring Supplier, or Card Sponsor without payment of any kind to the winner.

6.3 The winner must sign a document attesting to his/her eligibility as stipulated in paragraph 2 of these rules and releasing Rexall Pharmacy Group , Sponsoring Supplier, LoyaltyOne, Co. and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.

6.4 The prize[s] shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money, nor sold nor transferred. No substitutions will be allowed.

6.5 If the prize[s] cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Sponsoring Supplier, its affiliates, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees, reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value.

6.6 Refusal to accept the prize releases Sponsoring Supplier, Rexall Pharmacy Group, Card Sponsor, and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, of any responsibility and obligation toward the winner.

6.7 Sponsoring Supplier , Rexall Pharmacy Group , LoyaltyOne, Co. and their affiliates, and agencies and its respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives shall assume no liability resulting from: (i) losses, delays, typographical errors, poor technical or phone operations, loss or stealing of data-processing, breach of software or computer equipment, losses of communication facilities, text messages or e-mails or fraudulent entries; (ii) any failure of the Contest website during the Contest period; (iii) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software; (iv) failure of any entry to be received by Rexall Pharmacy Group on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof; (v) any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or cell phone related to or resulting from participating or attempting to participate, in the Contest. Rexall Pharmacy Group reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to amend, suspend or terminate this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rexall Pharmacy Group corrupt or adversely affect the administration, security, impartiality, or intended operation of this Contest, including without limitation the operation of the Contest website. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Rexall Pharmacy Group reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, generated by robotic programming, falsified, or tampered with in any way.

6.8 Sponsoring Supplier, Rexall Pharmacy Group , Card Sponsor, and their respective affiliates, and agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives shall assume no liability of any kind whatsoever in any cases in which their inability to act, results from an event or situation unforeseeable or beyond their control, including more particularly a strike, lock-out or any other labour dispute in its place of business or the location of any other relevant third party.

6.9 All personal information, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, AIR MILES account number, age, and any other information submitted with an entry, is collected solely for the purposes of administering this Contest and, except as otherwise provided herein with respect to winners, shall not be used for any other purpose without consent. By providing this information, all entrants consent to it being used for the stated purposes.

6.10 Entrants agree to abide by these Contest rules and by all decisions of Sponsoring Supplier, Rexall Pharmacy Group and, which are final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Contest, including, without limitation, eligibility and/or disqualification of entries.

6.11 The Contest rules are available by logging on to https://www.rexall.ca/lottocontest on Friday Start Date December 6th to Thursday End date December 12th 2019 at 11:59PM EST.

6.12 This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. All questions relating to the development, validity, interpretation and binding nature of these Contest rules, and the rights and obligations of entrants and Rexall Pharmacy Group relating to this Contest shall be governed and interpreted in compliance with the laws in the province of Ontario and Canadian laws effective therein, without reference to its conflict of law principles. Entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario and agree that such courts have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.

6.13 This Contest is managed by Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd LoyaltyOne, Co. is no way connected to the management of this Contest.
