Activate your weekly ‘contest entry’ digital offer, swipe your BE WELL™† Card and make a qualifying purchase on eligible products during the contest period, regular exclusions apply and you will be entered into the contest for a chance to win 1 of 12 grand prizes of 1,000,000 BE WELL™ Points or 1 of 20 secondary prizes of 100,000 BE WELL™ Points.

Eligibility:

To enter and be eligible to win, an entrant must be a resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) and a member of the BE WELL™ Program, who is at least 14 years of age in his/her province of residence. Proof of identification and age must be provided upon request.

If you are not already a BE WELL™ Member , you can enroll in the BE WELL™ Program by visiting www.letsbewell.ca or by downloading the app and completing the registration process. By enrolling to become a BE WELL™ Member you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the BE WELL™ Program, as amended from time to time.

2. How To Enter

Activate your weekly ‘contest entry’ digital offer, swipe your BE WELL™† Card and make a qualifying purchase on eligible products at Rexall.

No Purchase Necessary: To participate without purchase, print your name, 19-digit Be Well ® Card number, e-mail address registered to your Be Well ® account, mailing address and a telephone number clearly and legibly on a plain piece of paper, and describe in a minimum 50-word, handwritten essay why you want to win this contest, and mail it to:

To be eligible for the Contest, the mail-in entry must be received by [February 28, 2020], failing which you will not be entered into the Contest. Limit: one (1) mail-in request per address per day during the Contest Period. Maximum of one (1) entry form per stamped envelope. Mail-in requests must be stamped with sufficient postage. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of receipt. No photocopies or other reproductions will be accepted.

Limit: One (1) entry per day per BE WELL™ Account Number.

Rexall Pharmacy Group is not responsible for lost, late, garbled, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or other error. The use of computer programs and other automatic means to submit multiple entries is prohibited.

3. Descriptions Of Prize

There are 12 grand prizes of 1,000,000 BE WELL™ Points and 20 secondary prizes each of 100,000 BE WELL™ Points.

25,000 BE WELL™ Points has a cash value of CAD $10 at Rexall. The approximate retail value of each grand prize of 1,000,000 BE WELL™ Points is CAD $400, and the approximate retail value of each secondary prize of 100,000 BE WELL™ Points is $40. Prizes can be used in-store towards purchases at Rexall. BE WELL™ Points prizes are not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded.

Draws occur weekly in accordance to Procedure for Awarding points noted below:

5. Procedure For Awarding Prizes

The prize[s] will be awarded following the procedure set out below.

One draw will be held weekly after the end of the Contest Period, where three (3) entries will be selected amongst all entries received between 12:00:00 AM (ET) September 20th and October 3rd, 2019 (pursuant to paragraph 2). Rexall Pharmacy Group will then proceed to contact the chosen entrant[s].

Rexall Pharmacy Group will attempt to contact the selected entrant[s] by e-mail. If by no later than two (2) days after being contacted (a) a selected entrant does not respond within two (2) days from the first attempt of contact, or (b) after responding does not confirm arrangements with Rexall Pharmacy Group to pick up his/her prize, or (c) does not meet all of the Contest conditions required in order to be declared a winner, he/she shall be disqualified and Rexall Pharmacy Group reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to randomly select another eligible entrant as the winner in the same manner.

The odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. For the purposes of these Contest rules, the entrant is the individual in whose name the BE WELL™ card is registered; this is the individual to whom the prize will be awarded if he/she is selected and declared a winner.

6. General Rules

6.1 To be declared a winner, each selected entrant must first correctly answer, without assistance, a time limited, mathematical skill-testing question.

6.2 By entering the Contest, each winner agrees to permit Rexall Pharmacy Group and their respective advertising and promotional agencies to use the winner’s name and/or likeness (including without limitation his/her photograph), and/or his/her voice and statements regarding the Contest, for any advertising or promotional purposes connected with this Contest, in any media whatsoever, including without limitation, on any website operated by the Rexall Pharmacy Group or McKesson Canada without payment of any kind to the winner.

6.3 The winner must sign a document attesting to his/her eligibility as stipulated in paragraph 2 of these rules and releasing Rexall Pharmacy Group and McKesson Canada, and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.

6.4 The prize[s] shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money, nor sold nor transferred. No substitutions will be allowed.

6.5 If the prize[s] cannot be awarded as described in these rules, Rexall Pharmacy Group, its affiliates, as well as its respective directors, officers and employees, reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value.

6.6 Refusal to accept the prize releases Rexall Pharmacy Group and McKesson Canada, and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, of any responsibility and obligation toward the winner.

6.7 Rexall Pharmacy Group, McKesson Canada and their affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives assume no liability resulting from: (i) losses, delays, typographical errors, poor technical or phone operations, loss or stealing of data, breach of software or computer equipment, losses of communication facilities, text messages or e-mails, or fraudulent entries not caused by Rexall Pharmacy Group or McKesson Canada; (ii) any failure of the Contest website during the Contest period that is not occasioned by Rexall Pharmacy Group or McKesson Canada; (iii) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software not managed by Rexall Pharmacy Group, McKesson Canada, or their telecom and software vendors; (iv) failure of any entry to be received by Rexall Pharmacy Group on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof; (v) any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or cell phone related to or resulting from participating or attempting to participate in the Contest, if caused by parties other than Rexall Pharmacy Group, McKesson Canada, or their telecom and software vendors. Rexall Pharmacy Group reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to amend, suspend or terminate this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rexall Pharmacy Group corrupt or adversely affect the administration, security, impartiality, or intended operation of this Contest, including without limitation the operation of the Contest website. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Rexall Pharmacy Group reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, generated by robotic programming, falsified, or tampered with in any way.

6.8 Rexall Pharmacy Group, McKesson Canada, and their respective affiliates, and agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives, assume no liability of any kind whatsoever in any cases in which their inability to act results from an event or situation unforeseeable or beyond their control, including more particularly a strike, lock-out or any other labour dispute in its place of business or the location of any other relevant third party.

6.9 All personal information, such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, BE WELL™ Program account number, age, and any other information submitted with an entry, is collected solely for the purpose of administering this Contest and, except as otherwise provided herein with respect to winners, shall not be used for any other purpose without consent. By providing this information, entrants consent to it being used for the stated purposes.

6.10 Entrants agree to abide by these Contest rules and by all decisions of Rexall Pharmacy Group and McKesson Canada, which are final and binding with respect to all aspects of the Contest, including, without limitation, eligibility and/or disqualification of entries.

6.11 The Contest rules are available at www.letsbewell.ca/be-well-contest-rules between [Monday, February 3, 2020] and [Friday, February 28, 2020] at 11:59PM EST.

6.12 This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. All questions relating to the development, validity, interpretation and binding nature of these Contest rules, and the rights and obligations of entrants and Rexall Pharmacy Group relating to this Contest shall be governed and interpreted in compliance with the laws in the province of Ontario and Canadian laws effective therein, without reference to its conflict of law principles. Entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario and agree that such courts have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
